OESBD Commodity Review Update
OESBD conducted a review of all the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and County Business Enterprise (CBE) firms certified in the commodity area to ensure all firms met the criteria established in the ordinance.
In conducting the review, staff determined that 50 firms remain eligible for certification, (including program change from SBE and CBE to Only CBE or specialty area change), 32 firms are eligible for decertification and 52 firms are pending additional information and documentation. The results are shown below.

The firms impacted will receive letters regarding their new status starting April 23, 2012.
Process improvements remain an ongoing priority for the Office with updates planned for the ordinances and updated application.
Broward Water Partnership Offers Rebates to Local Businesses
The Broward Water Partnership is expanding the benefits of the Conservation Pay$ rebate program. Local businesses and property managers can now take advantage of $100 rebates to replace older toilets with high efficiency models that use 1.28 gallons of water or less per flush. Interested applicants can verify eligibility and apply online.
